JAIRO SEBASTIAN “IVERSON”

Jairo Sebastián Barrero is a Colombian artist deeply in love with his profession.
As a tattoo artist, born on August 3, 1989 in Bogotá. In his adolescence he was dedicated to high performance sports (basketball); seeing that in his career as a basketball player he did not was given many opportunities to emerge, he gradually detached himself from it and began to get to know the world of tattooing, where he was able to exploit one of his hobbies, which was drawing. For Sebastián it was not easy to start in this world of tattooing, but I look for all the tools learning to make this dream come true.
When he began to tattoo, he went through all the styles of tattooing, at that moment he began to do it for fun and not as artistic as he had hoped to project it. When he decided to venture into a style or specialty he started with the new school, since he felt more affinity because it reminded him of the pleasure he felt in school when he drew graffiti and comics, but as time went by he didn’t feel as comfortable doing this style of tattoos then it was there when he began to explore and find a taste for realism in shadows that is the style that awakens the true love and passion for the tattoo.
Sebastián arrived to Medellín in 2015 where he currently resides, the city that opened the
doors to make themselves known and show their art. The beginning in this city was not easy, but with effort and dedication was able to make his way in this highly competent profession by giving him the opportunity to meet and tattoo well-known people from the artistic world such as singers, influencers and athletes. His greatest achievement is the recognition he currently has nationally and internationally, allowing him to tour and exhibit his great work.
